Frequently
asked questions
How
is it that you can be so cheap?
This question is asked often asked of us and
there are a number of contributing factors. Some
of the main ones are as follows:
* We deal in volume conveyancing work which gives
us buying
Power to pass on to our clients.
* We do not have the cost burdens of high street
offices
* We will never charge an extra penny above and
beyond our
Basic legal charge to you.
* We do not quote you for searches that you do
not need. Many
Conveyancing companies will charge you for searches
that you
Simply do not need. So, for example, only a very
small
Percentage of cases nationally need a mining
or environmental
Search.
How long does the process take?
This is another very common question and quite
hard to answer as any conveyancer is dependent
upon outside parties such as local authorities,
other solicitors and estate agents. What we do
say is that, we will strive to work within your
targets as long as they are reasonable. Approximately
six to eight weeks would be a good guideline.
Is my conveyancing done
online?
No it is not. It is done using the telephone
and post as we have found that the personal touch
is preferable to the vast majority of clients.
You will given the contact number of the person
dealing with your case when you instruct us.
Are you based in the
UK?
Yes, all of our solicitors are UK based and we
never outsource work to countries such as India
unlike many other conveyancing companies.
Who will actually carry out my conveyancing?
We operate a national panel of solicitors who
have contractually agreed, and who have been
approved and vetted to our strict standards.
All of which are regulated by the Law Society
or the Council of Licensed Conveyancers and carry
full professional indemnity insurance.
Are you on the solicitors
panel of all mortgage lenders?
Yes we are. Once you have instructed us you will
be given all the
Information that you need to give to your mortgage
lender.
* Please refer to our terms and conditions for
the definition of a
Standard conveyancing transaction.
